SQL Data Sync, How to connect to SQL Azure without configure the SQL Database firewall?

Hi,

The question is straightforward so that no need more description!. I use ISP internet so that my IP is changing with periodic times(I don't have stable IP address).

I haven't used the SQL Data Sync. Does it need to configure the SQL Database firewall?

if you'r synching a non- Azure SQL Database (SQL Express/LocalDB/Server), you need to install the Data Sync Agent. The agent doesnt not connect to the Azure SQL Databases directly but rather communicates to the Azure hosted Data Sync Service. So there's no need to open up the firewall in SQL Database for your ISP's ip address. You have to allow Azure Services on your SQL Database firewall though so the Sync Service can connect to it.
