SQL Azure Sync since 27/06

We have had an SQL Azure sync setup and running perfectly for 6 months in the West Europe region to synchronise bi-direction to an on-premise database. However since 4:20pm on the 27/06 there have been no syncs. The log only shows the last sync as completed successfully. I have tried to cancel the running sync.

The on-premise status is on-line, but the SQL Azure status for the sync agent is just showing as processing.

Is there anyway to force the restart of this. I have tried stopping the sync but it still just shows as processing.

I noticed a report of an issue with the sync in South Central region at the same time and wondered if they are related.

Thanks

Hi Simon,

So the issue is there's a syncing which running for quite a long time and never finished, at the same time, no data has been synced to the target, right?

We did not observed the same issue which South Central region suffered in West Europe, to help trouble shooting your problem, could you please provide the following information:

1. Sync Group ID

2. TracingID (you can find that in portal for each sync)

3. SubscriptionID

Thanks.
