SQL 2008 R2 SP2 Update failed

I'm trying to deploy KB2977320 via WSUS and they're failing with error code 84BE000A.  I found the SQL install error logs in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Setup Bootstrap\Log\ and they indicate:

The account running SQL Server Setup does not have one or both of the following rights:  right to back up files and directories, and the right to manage auditing and the security log.

I've tried inspecting and adding various users to these Local Security Policies (Local Security Policy > User Rights Assignment) and the install is still failing.  The logs give no indication as to *which* user doesn't have these rights.  What do I need to do to get this to install via WSUS?

Target System: Windows 2008, SQL Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 2 (KB2977320)

I saw those, however they don't help me deploy this update using WSUS.  Making this work via WSUS is what I'm aiming for here.

#1 - Manual install:  I'm able to do this successfully, however this update is delivered via WSUS and I'm planning to deploy it using WSUS.

#2 - Add rights:  To which *user* am I supposed to grant those rights?  local Administrator... a local user... domain admin... sql user... ?  I tried most of these I've listed and couldn't get it to work through WSUS.  What user does WSUS operate under?
