Probably not. Server 2003 was at XP SP1 level on release, so SP2 for server 2003 was the really the third SP.Bill

What about the train of updates that have been released for Server 2003 since the release of it's SP2? Can't those be rolled into a service pack -unless of course you, being the Microsoft spokesperson, is not that interested in making your customers' networks more secure.

I am not a spokeman for Microsoft. I expressed my oipinion that I thought that it was unlikely. I have not heard any talk of it happening.Bill

Well, since SP2 is actually SP3, is there going to be an SP4 for Windows Server 2003?Or is Microsoft going to abandon the whole SP idea for Server 2003, now that the serial numbering system for service packsis all messed up?Isn't there someone at Microsoft that cares about their customers? Or is this something like "we can only make a living ripping off our kids"?Thanks.

Well, Officially according to Road Map Next Update is in "No further updates planned"-mode. So i guess we are not seeing one, at least in near future? :(Windows Service Pack Road Maphttp://www.microsoft.com/windows/lifecycle/servicepacks.mspxHenry Eklf :: Just one random IT-guy more.
