SNAT and IPSec
The institution I just started working with is considering using SNAT. I think this is secure NAT. I remember somebody stating that IPSec does not work well with NAT. Does IPSec not work well with NAT because of the certificates it requires to properly communicate with clients or other servers? Does SNAT help allevate this problem?whoop

IPsec can work through NAT (named NAT-Traversal or simlpy NAT-T). Please check this documents:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/885407http://support.microsoft.com/kb/926179http://www.microsoft.com/technet/community/columns/cableguy/cg0802.mspxhttp://www.sysadmins.lv
