SMTP rcpt?
I have setup our Windows 2008 box with an SMTP Virtual Server. Changed the Access relay to only send from the IP of the server itself. Trying to run thru a telnet to send a test I have to input the rcpt. I have no idea where its calling to for this email address. I didnt setup an exchange server, just the smtp. The end goal is we want a button on our website that will allow us to send emails from the website. So the website, and the smtp server are on the same box. How do I create a username and password for an email id on this server? I assume thats what I need to do in order to have a rcpt account. Thanks! Joel Pettigrew

If you are referring to the SMTP command "rctp to:", that is the command used to input the email address where you want to send the email message. Not sure what you mean by username and password.
