Hi Experts, I am facing weired problem with SMTP service. When I telent from the client to SMTP server it just come back to prompt without any error but at next attempt it got established. Solution would be appreciated. Regards, Shashi

There is no firewall in between. both the servers are in same LAN.

Hi, I have two servers in same network, let say computer A and computer B both are on same subnet. ip address of both are like 10.1.1.1 (computer A) and 10.1.1.2 (computer B). 10.1.1.1 has windows inbuilt SMTP services installed and from 10.1.1.2 (computer B) when I do telnet it returned back to prompt whereas at next attempt it got established. It is happening intermittently. Shashi
