SFC Problem in Windows Server 2003 R2
When I run the System File Checker, it comes back with a need to repair some .dll files, which is usually no big deal. However, it is asking for the "Service Pack 2 CD", which I cannot find. I tried downloading the SP2 executable (which is all I could find) and extracting it onto a CD, but that didn't work, neither did full OS discs for Server 2003 R2 with SP2. Does anyone know where I can find an .iso for the disc I need? Otherwise, does anyone else know a work around to repair these files without performing a repair install?

I tried this disc, but it still says that it's the wrong CD.

Hello, try extracting the files and placing them in the dllcache folder.SFC should check the cache first, before prompting for the media. Thanks, Darrell Gorter This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights
