My Dell POwerEdge running Server 2008 SP2 displays an error stating "I1912 SEL Full" I believed this was due to the System Error Log being full but having cleared it and checked to see that it is set to overwrite I still get the error. Two restarts still have not cleared the error.

hi Eph6v14, thanks for posting in wndows forums. the event id SEL Full is related to LCD Status Messagesand not related to the windows generic error messages, i would recommend you to contact DELL for further assistance. SEL Full System Event Log is full of events, and is unable to log any more events. Clear the log by deleting event entries.
