SCSM 2012 Asset Limits?

Hey I was wondering if anyone could answer this for me.

With SCSM 2012 out of the box no add-ins what's the limitation when it comes to Asset Management?

like what information does it store? I'm under the belief its limited by what configuration manager collects.

thanks guys.

hello there,

Correct. SCSM only tracks the CI's from SCCM. If you're looking to manage all hardware and software assets from a financial, technical, and organization perspective then our company Cireson develops a SCSM Asset Management Solution http://www.cireson.com/app-store/scsm-asset-management/

If you have any further questions then please contact me.

Thanks,

Paul.

Hi Curtis,

Out-of-the-box SCSM can collect and store the information from Active Directory (like users, computers, printers), from Operations Manager (adding additional details to SCCM data, distributed applications). Maybe I lost something but not too much.
