SCOM Webconsole Configurations as FQDN

is there a way to let SCOM use the FQDN of the Web Console instead of going

to Administration node and then Making it a FQDN?

Hi Werner

For general use you can specify any URL or use a DNS alias albeit there are a couple of items to consider:

Is there something specific you are trying to achieve?

Cheers

Thanks Graham.

We have our SCOM Environment in another forest and we are cross Monitoring servers in another forest thus doing DNS prefixes can't be done as all our laptops are for Personal use, and none of our machines us are joined to the Domain, as we are all Contracters and I would rather if anyone tries to install the SCOM Console have the FQDN for the WebConsole and reporting.
