Hi,

In our environment, we have SCOM 2007 R2 CU7 applied. Now, Database team is thinking to update SQL Server 2008 SP2 DB service pack from SP2 to SP3. I have gone through many blogs, but I have not got in written that CU7 supports SQL Database SP3. 

Would SQL server 2008 SP3 be compatible with SCOM 2007 R2 CU7?

Please confirm.

But I have not got written anywhere that SQL Server 2008 SP3 is also compatible with CU7. Please confirm me with link that CU7 and SQL server 2008 SP3 does not have any compatibility issue.

Hi Vinay,

When I read the Tech net Article. I read that SQL 2008 SP3 is supported when you minimal System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2 CU 5 Installed. 

So, when you have System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2 CU7 installed it should work and be supported, But I cannot provide you with a Link where this is exactly described.
