SCOM Alert history comments not saving

We are using SCOM 2012 SP1 and our monitoring(L1) team is updating the alert history after acknowledging the alert through the web console. For some of the L1 team engineers, the comments updated in alert history did not show up after saving it.

As a Work around, they have to log off and login into the Web console and update the comments to persist the comments in alert history.

Appreciate if anybody guide me in right direction to resolve this issue.

Thanks

Hi,

Will webpage refreshing can update the alert history after you adding comments?

As you said, you could re-logon to the web page, and then you got the updated alert history, so it seems like that the web console has some performance issue.

After add comments, please wait for some time, and then re-check it:

You can click View additional knowledge after waiting some time.

Hi Yan,

Thanks for your response. Refreshing the webpage does not solve this problem.

you didn't get my point, I am not saying as "after re-logging to the webpage, we get the updated alert history".

What I mean is after re-logging we have to again update the comments in alert history, then the comments will stay(Saved).

It is very frustrating for L1 team to relogin each time they have to update the comments in alert history.

Hi,

It is a strange issue as it is occurting to some user, and not always. I would like to suggest you re-create the account for one of those users, and test it to check the result. There may be something wrong with the user profile.
