SCOM - -500 Internal Server Error - There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.

Hello Good Afternoon,

We are getting the below error while trying to access reports from the remote server (in same domain) from web console "500 Internal Server Error - There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed."

In our environment we have 3 servers one is SQL server and two are SCOM servers. Please advise how to fix this issue. Do we have to do any thing from SQL End?

Hi,

You need to have more detail from Event Log or IIS log. With this very generic error and without context, it is difficult to justify what caused the problem.

Just FYI>> I just experienced the same issue, but it was because my account was locked out.

Did you restart the IIS Services and check once ?

Reboot all the server's once during off peak hours and check

Try adding your SCOM accounts to those two groups:

Logon Locally (Could be Administrators, Users or Backup groups)

Performance Log Users

Performance Monitor users
