SBS 2008 Exchange setup
I have setup earlier versions of SBS before and am quite familiar with it. I am now about to do a fresh install with a new client of SBS 2008 Premium. There need for SQL is coming at a later date. I have never setup Exchange to to be avaiable any other way for external users other than VPN. And i have never had reason to make OWA available. And thus never needed a secure cert. And i have always set them up with POP3 Connector as I work strictly with small non-profit orgs.So heres the question. What exactly should I plan on for setting them up to use the owa interface of Exchange in the SBS 2008 Enviroment? Multiple SSL's, one wildcard ssl, no ssl? They will be using the pop connector still and i am curious what i will need to point back to their in-house server for OWA use as well as using outlook anywhere instead of vpn. Finally since it appears office live links to the server directly would i be better off to have them just use office live for email rather than even setting the exchange server up. They only have 13 email users... and really only want to be able to have a public contact list and calander as well as sharing personal calendars and contacts...Any quick advice on this...Office livelooks good... and its free (perfectfor a non-profit) so it kinda seems like a good alternative for what they want but i have little experience with it.Thanks,Chris LambertChris Lambert
