SBS 2008 Connecting Win 7 Computer
I just installed SBS 2008 on my server. When I run the Connect Computer Program on a Windows 7 64-bit workstation it fails with the message "This computer does not meet the requirements necessary to connect to the network." The resolution message is: "This computer does not meet the maximum operating system requirements." Read that again, this computer does not meet the MAXIMUM operating system requirements. What's that mean?! Windows 7 cannot join the network because it is too advanced? (I successfully connected a Vista 32-bit computer.) Why can't my Windows 7 64-bit computer connect? More importantly, what's the solution to this?

Check out this article as it may be the solution to your issue. You may need to simply apply Update Rollup 3 to your SBS 2008 server.
