SBS 2003 and ESXi activation
Hello Everyone,I have a few questions that hopefully will be easy to answer. Currently we are running SBS 2003 on a physical server with 5 CAL's. We are planning our disaster recovery and intend to utilize VMWare's ESXi server. We would like to make a virtualized copy of our SBS 2003 instance to use only in a Disaster Recovery solution. My questions are these:1. Is it permissable at all to test the image of the SBS 2003 server to verify functionality?2. If we go to test the image, will we be prompted to re-activate?3. If we have to re-activate, what happens to the Install on the physical server (only in an image testing situation would this happen)4. If we are not permitted to test the image, what kind of license would we need to purchase to run SBS 2003 on our DR site for compliance for concurrent instances of SBS 2003?Regards,Brian
