SBS 2003 DHCP Scope issue
I havea Small Business Server 2003When I installed this, I set it up with 2 network cards and I am using the Windows firewall. Here is the problem. When the Connect to internet wizard is run, I enter the IP information for the Live NIC IP: 74.11.47.50, SM 255.255.255.240, GW 74.11.47.49, then I enter the IP address for the internal network NIC, IP 192.168.100.1, SM 255.255.255.0. I continue to complete the wizard. All works properly until I look at the DHCP scope that is created for the internal network. The Subnet Mask is set to the subnet for the external NIC 255.255.255.240 instead of the Subnet Mask for the internal NIC 255.255.255.0.Because of this, the DHCP server only issues 14 ip addresses to my local network. I have run the wizard numerous times to no avail. The Subet Mask in the DHCPscope is greyed out so I can't manually change it. Is there any way to bypass the wizard and manually change the subnet Mask in theDHCP scope?Greg Cravey
