While hunting for a solution to my MSDTCconsole failure to restart, I started checking other services. One with which I am unfamiliar is the SBSD Security service which I found to be in a Disabled state. Is this its correct state or could it be part of the problem I'm having? In case you need info on my system: I'm on a Vista 64 bit v2 workstation using a home network without any server. Our network is wireless and on Time Warner Internet. I am not an IT Pro although I'm the most tech savvy person here. I listed this in Vista IT Pro forum only because I thought an IT Pro might be able to help.
