SBS2003-RWW client access to specific computers
Configuration: SBS2003SP2/R2; 4gig ram; 5 Hard disks (primary mirrored, data striped); Exchange 2003, SQL 2005, Sharepoint, RWW enabled, RPC over HTTP enabled Client PCs: Windows Vista Business; 2gig ram; 80gig HD; enhanced video; Dell Optiplex; Office 2007 Users were added without assigning specific computers Computers were all added and authenticated with the administrator account Users were then logged into the pc, individual settings assigned to each one (added windows live messenger per client request, remote help desk assistance activated, etc.) Issue: When clients log into RWW, they choose: Connect to Client Desktops; then they get a list of every computer within that network. All the computers have a generic company name (versus user name: ie - ABCDSK001 - where ABC is the initials of the company, dsk is for desktop, etc.). Question: Can I change this so that when a user logs in using RWW, they see only the computer to which they normally use? (example: John Doe uses ABCDSK006 - that is the only computer he has been signed into) And, how do I do this or can this be done? Thank you in advance!!
