Hi Nccool, Thanks for posting here. According to your description, I understand your domain controller's run icon is disappeared from start menu. Please check the following settings. 1. Check whether it's removedby thegroup policy. a) Click Start, click Command Prompt, type "rsop.msc" (without the quotation marks) in the open Resultant Set of Policy. b) Please navigate to the tree User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar. c) In the right pane, please search for and double-click the item "Remove Run from the Start menu". d) Check the GPO name in the column. e) If it's defined by Local group policy, please Click Start, click Command Prompt, type "gpedit.msc" to Disable the setting. f) If it's defined by domain group policy, please open your Domain Group policy management console to Disable the setting 2. If its not defined by group policy, you may need to check the following registry setting. a) Click Start, click Command Prompt, type "regedit" (without the quotation marks) in the open box and click OK. b) In the left pane, expand the tree to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer] c) In the right pane, please right-click the entry NoStartMenuMorePrograms and d) click Delete. e) Restart the system.
