Routing and Remote Access VPN and Network Resources
I've searched and found another thread on this, but with no answer. I have a PPTP VPN setup on a Server 2003 machine with 2 NICs. I can connect with the VPN no problem and I can connect to the server running the VPN. But when the VPN is connected I cannot access any other network resources, even via IP. Is there something I'm missing? I've noticed that both of my NICs are internal. Is this where I am mistaken? Andrew

I discovered the cause. It seems that my dual NIC setup was faulty. I noticed that a web service on that same server was unreachable. Disabling the 2nd NIC actually fixed the web service and the VPN issues. So note to anyone with two internal interfaces, that doesn't work. Andrew
