Routing and Remote Access Problem in Windows Server 2011 SBS Standard
Hi There, The company I support just bought a new Hp ML 350 G6 Server with Windows Server 2011 SBS Standard installed. I am configuring the server as new DC and is trying to enable an internet connection. The server has two NICs the first NIC is assigned to connect to LAN and the second is connected to a router, and the router is connect to the ISP Broadband modem. When I start configuration through SBS Console it tests the connection with the router and sets the second NIC active and disables the First NIC. So I started to configure manually to use the windows Routing and Remote access service. I have gone through the wizard and finished the setup. But when I see the IP routing Table under IP4, Static IP section, the gateway assigned is 0.0.0.0 in all network addresses. I have tried to create static IP Routing but it didn't work. When I configure client computer they can not access internet but they can join the Domain and access other resources fine. I have tried to Add a NAT routing protocol to the IP4 section in the routing and remote access interface but only DHCP Relay Agent is available in the new protocol list. Any one who can help I really appreciate. Rgds Beniam KebedeRGDS Beniam Kebede

Unlinke SBS 2003 supports 2 NICs, SBS 2011 allow only one NIC. http://blogs.technet.com/b/sbs/archive/2008/09/16/sbs-2008-supported-networking-topology.aspx For SBS queries, post here. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/smallbusinessserver/threads Thanks
