Root Domain and Additional Domain
I have a one root domain and 4 additional domain for this root in one forest. I want to know how replication is happening. Can i always log in to additional domain ? what is peer domain then?
My requirement is different sites are having additional domain on level 2 network and on level 3 network on root domain is there. how domain login will happens in this case and i can change policy in additional domain?

KCC manages replication automatically, it create replication connections based on site info. Make sure ports are opened correctly:

You can slways logon other domains in the same forest. Domains in one forest has built-in Trusts and authentication will be forwarded automatically.
With proper rights, you can change policy in additional domain.
