Hi AGera, As your OS version is Russian, so we cannot gather any files from your system for further research, the troubleshooting will be limited. If the issue is urgent, please consider submitting a support incident to the Russian support. Thanks for your understanding. Have you tried to start the Certificate Service via the command “net start certsvc” or via the Services? If any error is received, please let us know. To troubleshoot the Certificate Service issue, we can refer to the following support article: Certificate Services may not start on a computer that is running Windows Server 2003 or Windows 2000 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/842210 If the issue persists, please consider using the esentutl tool to fix the database: 1. Make sure that the Certificate service is stopped. Open Windows Explorer. Navigate to %systemroot%\system32\certlog\ Make a copy of all files in this folder. NOTE: This step is very important. The troubleshooting steps could cause further corruption on the CA database. 2. Run esentutl /g %systemroot%\system32\certlog\<CA Name>.edb to fix the database. 3. Delete all files except <CA Name>.edb from the folder. Try to start the 'Certificate Services' from services console. What is the result? For more information, please also check the following support article: Support for the Esentutl.exe tool on a Windows Server 2003 certification authority database http://support.microsoft.com/kb/930832/en-us Hope the above information will be helpful. Hi, Thanks for your feedback. Have you run the “Recovery” as suggested? What is the result? Is the Certificate Service working properly? Regards, Nina This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
