Role of PageFile in Windows server
Hi All, please help me to understand the role of page file in windows server environment. kinldy answer the below listed quries: 1.If i move the page file to another drive will my server performance improved 2 For example the pagefile is moved D drive.by mistakenly the drive is formated or deleted what problem will the OS experience 3.If i kept the page file in C drive will my system performance will be improved 4.At what situation i need to raise the page file size 5,my current RAM size 4GB If I am not raised the pagefile size to more 5GB-10 GB any server performance will be impacted. 6.what is the maximum pagefile can set to windows server 2003,2003R2,2008 & 200R2 7.Can i reduce the page the default pagefile size.for example my default page file size 2048 can i reduce the size of the page file to 1GB.
