Robocopy Move files to a NAS not accessed in 365 days

Hi Guys,

I wanna make sure im setting this up correct.

We archive network folders to a NAS that have not been accessed for 365 days and we want to keep all of the NTFS permissions and same folder structure on both source and destination

can you confirm this would be correct.

This would be the robocopy syntax for our HR folder

robocopy \\fs01\HR \\oohnas01\Archives\HR /MinLAD:365 /E /MOV /ZB /COPYALL /R:5 /W:5 /SEC

Thanks Heaps

Dan

confirmed, the robocopy command you've specified would meet your requirements exactly.

I'd recommend including some form of logging for troubleshooting purposes.

RoboCopy is not a script.  Please post further questions about RoboCopy in the appropriate platform forum (i.e. WS2008, Windows 7, etc)
