Roaming profiles/ Gpcsvc failed the logon

Hey all,

I'm having a serious issue. So over the weekend something happened and now a select few users are receiving temporary profiles on ever domain connected machines they try to log into. These users do not have .bak SIDs in the registry. The only way to get them to login as themselves is to remove their profile path in AD.

Likewise some users receive "The Group Policy Client Service Failed the Logon, access denied. The only way to get these users to be able to login is to sign on as Admin and replace the hidden Default folder in Users. After that I have to completely remove them from the machine and have them sign in. Their profiles must be removed from AD too.

Another funny quirk is if some users change their passwords then the system no longer recognizes them. I must manually reset their password in AD. Anyone experience this or know whats going on?
