Report Builder Filters Not working

hi All

I am using SSRS 2008. I have 3 applications specific reports deployed to reporting manager..

AAA , BBB and CCC - be my Applications for example.

i have 3 different application users. i want to grant access the respective application users to access respective reports.

i mean application user A should not be able to access/view reports from BBB and CCC. similarly for B and C application users.

HOw this can be implemented ? any idea?

Googled a lot but could not found feasible sol

On your SSRS server, create groups for each application, i.e., GroupA for AAA. And then add users you want them to access to the group. On the report property, assign the groupA for AAA report.

Hi Sri,

Per my understanding that you have three applications which specific reports in the report server and you want different application users to have access to different report, right?

Generally, both Local User and Group and the Active Directory users and groups can be assigned of these two kind of roles: item level roles and system-level roles to the report server.

In your scenario, you can assign different item-level role for different report to restrict the access to the report.

As Guoxiong mentioned that you can create three group (A,B,C) in the local users and groups for different application users

Then set the different role assignment based on differen report as below:

If you still have any problem, please feel free to ask.
