Rename a user account that runs a service
If an account is used to log on as a service and you renamethatuser account, would that stop the servicefrom starting or would that information be automatically updated? I'm concerned that we might rename an account that no one knows is used to start a service and it'll break.Thanks.

Hi, You will get an Error1069 the service could not be started due to logon failure. Hence the services will not work when the logon user is renamed.Thanks Syed Khairuddin
