Within the GPP properties in the common tab if you check "Remove this item when it is no longer applied" then it might do it for you, however there are some issues with that option which result in it not always removing the relevant setting.
The recommended solution is to duplicate the GPP but with a Delete action as mentioned here http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsserver/en-US/43dd60da-002c-460e-b0c6-a11caf1e5600/start-menu-shortcut-not-removed-when-no-longer-applicable?forum=winserverGP
You then use Item-level targeting within the common tab of the GPP properties to apply the policy to those users who are NOT a member of the relevant group so it will delete the drive mapping when they're removed from the group. If you're not familiar with ILT there's a good explanation of it here http://blogs.technet.com/b/grouppolicy/archive/2009/07/30/security-filtering-wmi-filtering-and-item-level-targeting-in-group-policy-preferences.aspx
