Removing Support Groups from the Change, Incident, and Service Request Lists

We have Supports groups setup in AD that we are using in SM.  There is a support group that is no longer to be used, but it been used in all work items throughout SM.  Can this be removed, or will it cause problems to the work items that have this support group.

For example, we have tier and support groups defined as GroupA in SM, and there is a group GroupA in AD.  They no longer want to use this group in SM, but there are work items for this group for over a year.

Can this be done, or will it cause integrity problems?

Hi,

Based on my test, there is no impact, and you can edit the Change/Incident/Service Request Lists/Templates.
