Remove all printers from a specific printserver through group policy
Hi, I wondered if it is possible to delete al the printers from a specific printserver on every client pc via group policy? We have an old printserver that needs to go but we don't know who still has printers from that server. Thx in advance.

Hello, If these printers had been added using a group policy then update this group policy. If not then you can use this script as a logon script to do it: http://theintegrity.co.uk/2010/07/how-to-remove-printers-using-group-policy-in-domain-environment/ This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights. Hi, I agree with Mr X, he has provided the right suggestion to the issue. If we deployed the printers via Group Policy, we could modify the GPO settings. Also we could deploy a logon script to remove all printer connections on the client machines. Regarding the useful scripts, we could refer to the following articles. Hi, Thank you for all the great solutions. We however have a terminal server environment and I would like to remove the printers from the users that are working on the terminal server. We would like to get rid of the printserver but when we shut it down alot of people end up hanging in their print dialog because the printers of that server dissapeared so the server is still running for that reason only. I see that the scripts use the local computer to remove the printers from but i need to remove them from each user individually on the terminal server. Is there some sort of logon script for that. One where you say delete all printers from that printserver ? thx in advance.
