The description from TN about the "Remove-SCVMTemplate" cmdlet is that it will remove a template object and all associated files. However when run It does delete the template object but leaves the vhd file behind. Anyone have any idea's?

The VHD is actually not part of a template in the VMM world.

It is a unique VHD object that is associated with a template - thus one VHD could be linked to multiple VM Templates.  Since a VM Template is a VHD plus Hardware profile, plus OS profile.

If you come from a VMware world - their notion of a template is different.
