Removal of newer versions of .Net
I'm supporting an older application using .Net v1.1.4322. The app is running on three Windows 2003 servers that we want to align the software on. We have one 'older' server that has .net v1.1.4322 as well as 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5 while the other 2 'newer' servers do not have the higher versions. - Is there a problem removing the higher versions of .Net? - Are there processes running within the OS that could be using the higher versions? - Could the anti-virus software be using any of these versions? - What else could be negatively affected removing the newer versions of .Net? Thanks!!
