Remote migration from 32-bit to 64-bit
Good day. I have remote desktop access to my server, and I can't access it physically. Is there any chance of performing migration from 32-bit to 64-bit? Of course, hardware supports 64-bit. WinServer2k8 Enterprise.

Hello,If you are trying to load new OS, you may either have to be at the server or you can do it remotely using the console if your manufacturer supports remote console login. Example Dell and HP have remote console access to servers.Or you can have an unattend installation..Isaac Oben MCITP:EA, MCSE

NO, you won't really be able to do that remotely. You cannot install a 64-bit OS from within a 32-bit OS. You have to boot into the installer directly from the installation media. You can't remote into a system whichdoes not have an OS running. You need to be there.Bill
