Remote desktop question from newbie
We have Windows Server 2008 R2 and CALs. I have setup ADDS and I installed another AD as backup. From my PC I can connect using Remote Desktop with no problem. Then I added Windows Server 2008 R2 as domain member. I can connect to it using Remote Desktop only using that machines local Administrator account. If I try to use Domain Administrator account in Remote Desktop it's not working ("Your credentials did not work"). Using virtual machine console I can log in to that server using Domain Administrator account with no problem. I understand that administrator is already added to a group permitted to use Remote Desktop. So, what I'm doing wrong? Regards, deki.b

Hi, Please make sure you are using the full user name (domain\username) when connecting via Remote Desktop. Thanks. -TP
