Remote Desktop Gateway (RDG) publishing

Hi all,

As announced in the Blog post for the August 2014 Update it is now possible to publish RD Web and RDG via the web application proxy.

However when i read the following lines 'Authentication to the RD Web Access server will still use the RD Web Access form logon' in the article https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn765486.aspx

I conclude that i will have to login twice to get to my RD Web applications. As we would like to use wap and adfs as our single entry point to all our applications, i was wondering if this scenario will become possible in the future, or if there is a workaround for this.

Greetings,

JP, Belgium

Hello JP,

We are moving the thread to the Windows Server Technical Preview as the query is related to the Windows Server role 'Web Application Proxy' which is in Preview.

You could also refer and post the same on the Windows Server Web Application Proxy blog.

Hi,

I conclude that i will have to login twice to get to my RD Web applications.

Within RDS, we can enable single-sign-on:

Remote Desktop Web Access single sign-on now easier to enable in Windows Server 2012

http://blogs.msdn.com/b/rds/archive/2012/06/25/remote-desktop-web-access-single-sign-on-now-easier-to-enable-in-windows-server-2012.aspx

As we would like to use wap and adfs as our single entry point to all our applications

I assume that you want to achieve single sign on between ADFS login page and web applications, please check this blog below:
