Reliability and Performance?
Perhaps a little premature but I am interested to hear from others that have implemented 2008 into their production networks. What are your opinions on the performance and reliability? Do you feel 2008 is a nice step up from 2003 or do you feel for the most part it about the same? Are there new features in 2008 that have proven the upgrade worth while? How is 2008 handling your loads vs 2003? How have you found the scalability and utilization in comparison to the earlier versions of Server editions? We are getting ready to start rolling 2008 and I am interested in gathering some feedback and gotcha's.Thanks

Have been running Windows Server 2008 since pre-beta 1 as a member of the Microsoft TAP. We have nothing but good to say about it. It's more reliable, handles our workloads a lot better (even on the same hardware we have performance gains). We're running Server Core, RODC, bitlocker and DFS-R on our branch offices which really rocks. And everything is manageable from our main office.
I say go!
