We tried to install one software via normal MSI file to our server, but we got stucked in Windows error "Registry Key Error Code 0". What could be the reason? Server is Windows Server 2008 R2.

What process returned the error? If it is the software install routine then I'd ask the application vendor.

Dear Dave,

You were right, we were just installing the software with normal Windows MSI installation package. We also suspected that some components could be missing. Are there any means to get more detailed information than just the error code?
