Hi, I would like to know that, is there any tool from Microsoft to generate autounattend.xml file which is used to automated windows 2008 R2 64bit OS installation. Please provide the link if you have. Thanks. S. Lakshmanan. You will need SIM Tool(System Image Management Tool) that is pacakged with Windows Automated Installation Kit. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=696DD665-9F76-4177-A811-39C26D3B3B34&displaylang=en In order to create the Autounattended.xml's correctly, you need to learn how to modify WinPE with the Autounattended.xml as well as the Install.wim Autounattend.xml for it to install the system completely unattended.
