As an idea does anyone think that the Recycle Bin Properties could also show information about how much space is taken up by files contained in the Recycle Bin?

No, they're being recycled anyway and you can always set a max size for your recycle bin.

It's like folders in Microsoft Windows, they never seem to say how big they are do they?

for win2k and XP/win2k3 ther is a small dll that you can load to properly show the folder size within explorer, search for "foldersize.dll" It adds another column in details view, that acurately shows you the size of the folder.

Well I think it should be built into the OS but if anyone can tell me why it isn't or if there's any reason why it can't be then I'd love to know..
