Recovery Console cannot access cdrom
Hello All,There has been a file lost "pci.sys" onone of our servers. We are using raiddrivers and have been able to login to the systems usingthe recovery console. I cannot cd into the cdrom or theusb"floppy" drive to copy files to the system32 folder to fix this problem. Could anyone help guide me on how toaccess these drives to repair the corrupted file(s). Thanks, Jeff

Hi Jeff,
There are two methods for us to recover the PCI.sys file on the Windows Server operation system.
Method 1: Use the Windows Server 2003 Recovery Console to expand Pci.sy_ from the I386 folder on the Windows 2000 CD-ROM to the \%SystemRoot%\System32\Drivers folder on the hard disk.
expand drive:\i386\pci.sy_ c:\Windows\system32\drivers /y
Method 2: Use In-Place Upgrade to Restore the File
