Hello, I believe I have read that under some circumstances Server 2008 will re-label network connections. So for instance if I have two Intel Pro/1000 interfaces, physically labeled (on the back of the server) as 1 and 2, sometimes the Network Connections screen will list their Device Names as "Intel ... Adapter" and "Intel ... Adapter #2 respectively and other times they will be reversed. Can someone point me to a description of the circumstances or scenarios in which such a relabeling may occur? Or have I misunderstood and this will never happen? thanks! Martin
