using the RRAS wizard, I setup a server for VPN access, it has two NIC's one internal and one external. I can't find any solid direction on letting the server get to the Internet for anything. Is there some solid directions on how to setup the filtering and anything else that needs to be done so I can run updates, etc.?

Are using RRAS with static filters to allow only incoming VPN (i.e. PPTP or L2TP ports) connections? If you want to enable Windows update, you should enable HTTP connection for port 80.If there are other/additioanl applications you want to enable on the RRAS server incoming or outgoing-- please let me know soI can help you further.
