RRAS - VPN Tunnel routing
Hi,
We have a Windows 2008 R2 Standard server running RRAS and NPS at one site (SiteA) and another site has a Juniper NetScreen firewall (SiteB). We have configured a VPN tunnel between the two. The Win2008 server has 2 NIC's one public facing and one internally
facing with no gateway address.
The VPN tunnel is active and routing packets according to the logs from SiteB but it is getting as far as the Windows server and stopping. So Ping requests are not responding etc.
From SiteA clients behind the RRAS can connect to the internet using the RRAS however again not ping anything on SiteB.
I know this is a routing problem and I am missing something quite obvious somewhere I believe. Which steps am I missing to get them to route across the tunnel, I have tried a static route on client and RRAS.
Thanks,
Nick

1. Show here route print
2. Are pings enabled?

Hello,
for the VPN tunnel, are you sure that you used a tunneling protocol that is supported on both used technologies?

Hi Nick,
Thank you for your post.
1. Please check whether you have configure the proper static routes with the Demand Dial Interface wizard, or add route to IP Routing--Static Routes after wizard
2. The routes should include forwarding route and back route on each side.
If there are more inquiries on this issue, please feel free to let us know.
