RDS Webapp missing
We currently run Windows 2008 R2 Remote Desktop Services (RDS).  The Web Server and Gateway are configured on 1 server.  The License and Broker are configured on another server.  We have 18 RDS Application servers.  Every month we complete maintenance on the network and after a reboot to the Web/Gateway server, all the icons on the Web Access page are missing.  We have tried all the WMI, hotfixes and AD groups.  Nothing seems to resolve the problem.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Thank you for your post in Windows Server Forum.

Did you find any particular event log on connection broker and RDSH server?

You can delete the rdp cache on the web server in C:\Windows\Web\RDWeb\Pages\rdp (default location).  Delete all files in there and then try accessing the website again.  This should force the web server to refetch all settings from the app server or connection broker and the associated icons. For more information:
WebApps missing since SP1 Install

Apart providing 2 more link where they have shown the result with help of WMI and IIS.

1.  Server 2008 R2 Remote App Web Access suddenly apps are gone
2.  Remote Desktop Web Access Program Icons Missing

Hope it helps!

Thanks,
Dharmesh
