Has anyone else been able to connect to it?I'm having the same issue as the original poster. I have confirmed that my Windows 7 machine is capable of connecting to my Yosemite machine (via TeamViewer), and have also confirmed that remote connections are enabled and that port 3389 is opened for the Win 7 machine's IP address on my internal network. I have not been able to connect successfully using the newest version of RDC for mac (Version 8.0.13 (Build 25377)) and do not have any other Windows machines to test connections with.I'm still having the same trouble... After update to 8.0.13
This worked for me. On a Verizon router, select Port Forwarding, enter the remote desktop IP, then select Remote Desktop from the application list. I tried setting individual firewall rules first without success.
Hope this helps,
david
I'm using Microsoft Remote Desktop version 8.0.18 (Build 26163). I CAN access my Windows 7 work computer from my iPhone and iPad. But I can't access via my macbook pro (Yosemite 10.10.3). I've made sure that the VPN and remote desktop settings on the macbook pro are exactly the same as the settings on the iPhone and iPad. The interesting thing is that if I take my macbook pro to the office, then everything works fine.
Any other ideas as to why this issue is only affecting my macbook pro?
Thanks!
