RDP Deployments

Hi,

I have a customer who wants to be provided with a RDP solution. We are thinking of setting up an Azure-based RDP Session-based solution (no VDI). Each user would remote in every morning to do all his/her job, basically working with Office, emails, and an accounting program. We are talking about 17-20 users in the office and 15 more in the field working with iPads.

Bandwith of my client:  6 Mbps down, 1 Mbps up  (pretty limited, i know).

RDP servers: Windows 2012 R2 on Azure

Clients: Windows 8.1 Pro

Questions:

1) Is the office bandwidth too much of a big deal for this setup?

2) What would be the pros/cons of this kind of solutions? We've never setup a client with a full RDP solution (by full i mean, all the job is done in the remote server)

3) MS had said that by January 2014, RDP User CALs with SA could be used to license the clients on Azure for RDP. What do you guys know about this?

Thanks.

S.
