Hi Kala, According to the research, by default Windows 2000 Server initializes the disk and make it as dynamic disk. The issue maybe occurs due to the corrupt LDM database, which results in the inability to bring disks online. Would you please check in the disk management console to see if the attached RAID5 was initialized as Dynamic? If so, we recommend you manually convert the RAID5 disk from dynamic disks to basic disk. Steps: 1. Start -> run -> diskmgmt.msc 2. Check the Disk that is list under the button to see if the system initializes the RAID5 disk as Dynamic 3. If so, please convert the Disk from Dynamic to basic by right-clicking on the disk and select "Revert To Basic Disk" 4. Afterwards, Please reboot the server and check if you can access the data again. Hope it helps.David Shen - MSFT
